Okay, so, today I really wanted to get my hands on this OMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 8 “Dark Side of the Moon” watch. I mean, who wouldn’t? It’s a pretty sweet timepiece, and it reminds me of that awesome Apollo 8 mission. I’ve been eyeing it for a while now, and since it’s the 50th anniversary of that mission, I figured it was the perfect time to try and find one.

Then I got into action, went to the authorized shop. I tried to get this watch at the price of the original order. It’s not easy but I tried my best. Finally, I got it!
After I got my hands on it, man, it was even better in person. The details on the dial, the way it feels on my wrist, everything. It’s definitely a keeper. I’m thinking this one’s going to stay in my collection for a long, long time. It’s not just a watch, it’s like a little piece of history.
And you know what? This whole experience just made me appreciate the Apollo 8 mission even more. Those guys were seriously brave, going all the way to the moon like that. This watch is a cool reminder of their courage and what they accomplished.
