Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this watch, the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Skywalker X-33Quote. It’s a pretty cool piece, not gonna lie. First off, I started by just looking at the thing. It’s got this black dial with white markers, and there’s a digital display in the center.
I pressed a few buttons and figured out how to switch between different time zones – up to three, it says. That’s handy, I guess. Then I set up the alarms. There are three of those, too. Not sure why I’d need three alarms, but hey, they’re there.
Playing Around with Features
Next up, I played with the chronograph and countdown functions. They seem to work fine. You know, start, stop, reset. The usual stuff. Nothing too complicated there. I also checked out the perpetual calendar. It’s got the date and all that. Seems accurate enough.
I did a bit of reading online, and apparently, this watch has some history with NASA. It was launched back in 1998 at the Johnson Space Center. That’s kinda neat, I suppose. Makes it feel a bit more special, even though it’s a copy.
It’s a big watch, too. 45mm across and a bit over 15mm thick. It’s made of titanium, which is supposed to be strong and light. Feels pretty solid on my wrist. Doesn’t weigh me down or anything.
My Thoughts
So, after wearing it for a while and fiddling with all the functions, here’s what I think: it’s a decent watch. It does what it says it does. The digital display is easy to read, and the buttons are responsive. It looks kinda cool, in a techy, spacey sort of way.
- Pros:
- Lots of functions (time zones, alarms, chronograph, calendar)
- Clear display
- Titanium case
- NASA connection
- Cons:
- It’s big
- Might be too complicated for some
Would I recommend it? Yeah, probably. It seems like a good watch for someone who wants something a bit different, something with a lot of features. And if you’re into space and all that, it’s even cooler. It’s not a real Omega, but it gets the job done and looks the part. That is all.
I don’t know everything about this stuff, but I tried. If you want to know more, just use your eyes to see the web.
I heard it’s Speedy Tuesday somewhere and some guy named Philip Kisloff is talking about this watch. Maybe check that out, too. It’s the third version of this X-33 thing, I guess.
Alright, that’s it for now. I’m gonna go do something else. Bye.
