Well, lemme tell ya about this watch thingy, the D20. It’s one of them newfangled gadgets, you know? Kinda like a watch, kinda like a tiny computer on your wrist. I ain’t no expert, but I’ll tell ya what I think.
First off, it tells time, which is good, ’cause, ya know, you need a watch to tell time. But this one, it does more than that. It’s got this screen, like a little TV on your arm. Shows ya numbers and stuff. They say it counts your steps and how far you walk. I guess that’s useful if you’re into that kinda thing.
Now, it connects to your phone, they say. Not sure how that works, but apparently, you can see messages and calls on it. Sounds fancy, but I ain’t much for staring at a tiny screen all day. My eyes ain’t what they used to be, ya see?
They say it helps you with your health, too. Measures your heart rate and stuff. I don’t know much about all that medical mumbo jumbo, but if it helps people, then it’s probably a good thing.
It ain’t perfect, though.
- The screen is kinda small, like I said. Hard to see everything if you ain’t got good eyesight.
- The battery, well, it needs chargin’ every few days. Another thing to remember, you know?
- And figuring out how to use it? Took me a while, I tell ya. All them buttons and menus, confusing for an old gal like me.
But for the young folks, maybe it’s good. They seem to like all these gadgets. Keeps them busy, I guess. And if it helps them stay healthy and connected, then who am I to complain?
It’s got different faces you can change, too. Like pictures on the screen. My grandson showed me how. He’s got all sorts of fancy ones on his. I just like the one with the big numbers, easy to read.
And it’s waterproof, they say. So you can wear it in the rain or while washin’ dishes. That’s handy, I suppose. Don’t have to worry about takin’ it off all the time.
Overall, it’s a neat little gadget. Does a lot of things, maybe too many things for an old lady like me. But I’m learnin’ to use it, slowly but surely. Keeps me on my toes, you know? And it’s kinda fun, in a way. Makes me feel a bit modern, even if I don’t understand half the stuff it does.
Would I recommend it? Well, it depends. If you’re into all these fancy gadgets and like keepin’ track of your steps and your heart, then yeah, maybe. It’s not a bad little watch, I’ll give it that. But if you’re like me and just want somethin’ to tell time, maybe stick with the old-fashioned kind. Simpler, you know? Less fuss. But hey, to each their own, right?
So, that’s my two cents on this D20 watch thingy. Take it or leave it. I ain’t no expert, like I said, just an old lady sharin’ her thoughts. Now, where did I put my glasses? Gotta find that recipe for the apple pie…
