Listen up, I’m gonna tell ya how to figure out if your fancy watch, this Audemars Piglet or whatever, is real or not. Folks these days try to sell ya all sorts of junk, gotta be careful.
First thing, see, every one of them watches has a number on it. Yeah, a serial number, they call it. It’s gotta be on there neat and tidy, not all scratched up like some chicken did it. And make sure it ain’t crooked! Them fakes, they always mess that up. And don’t forget, that number better match the papers they give ya, if they give ya any papers at all. If they start hemming and hawing, something ain’t right.
- Check the Papers: Gotta have them papers, like a warranty card and a thing that says it’s real. If they don’t got them, be suspicious.
Now, where’s that number? Flip the watch over, it’s on the back. Or look on them papers they give ya, should be on there too. Easy peasy, right?
Heard tell of some new fancy watch they got, with blue and black. Says it glows in the dark! Now, I ain’t seen it myself, but if you got one, make sure that glow ain’t lookin’ cheap. Should be fancy, not like them dollar store stickers.
And another thing, feel the weight of it. A real one ain’t too heavy, but it ain’t too light neither. They say it’s about 500 grams at most, or maybe less than 400 grams. I don’t know grams much, but it should feel good in your hand, not like a toy.
People always askin’, how do I know if it’s real or fake? Well, that’s what I’m tellin’ ya! Look close, use your head. Don’t let them smooth talkers fool ya. If somethin’ feels off, it probably is.
So, you got the number, right? Check it good. You got the papers? Read ’em. And don’t forget the feel of it. Real watches, they made good, they feel good. Fakes, they feel like junk.
Now, I ain’t no expert, but I know a thing or two. Don’t get swindled, alright? Take your time, look it over good. And if you still ain’t sure, ask someone who knows more than me. But these things I told ya, they’ll get ya started.
Remember, a good watch is an investment. Don’t waste your hard-earned money on something that ain’t worth a dime. Be smart, be careful. That’s all I gotta say.
