Hey there, listen, I’m gonna tell ya ’bout these Apple watches, the Series 9 and the SE 2. My grandkid, bless their heart, got me one, ya know, so I can “keep up with the times.” Pfft, times, they change too fast for an old gal like me, but anyway, let’s talk watches.
So, this Series 9, it’s all fancy. They say it’s got new features, game changin’ they call ’em. Well, I wore both of ’em, the 9 and the SE 2, for a good few months. And lemme tell ya, them new features? Not so game changin’ if ya ask me.
- First off, the price. That Series 9, it’ll cost ya. For what? I dunno. The SE 2, now that one, it’s a bit more friendly on the wallet, starts at, what they say, 249 dollars? Somethin’ like that. For what it does, that’s a good deal.
- Now, they both tell time, which is what I need. And they got all them other thingies, like countin’ steps. I walk to the store and back, and it tells me how far. Fancy that. Both of ’em do that, so why spend more?
- My grandkid showed me this other stuff, like the heart rate thing. Beats per minute, they call it. Well, both watches got that too. And the screen, yeah, the 9 is a bit brighter, but the SE 2 is just fine for my old eyes.
See, they tell me the Series 9 is better ’cause it’s faster, got some new chip or somethin’. But I ain’t racin’ nobody with my watch. I just need it to tell time, see my steps, and maybe call my grandkid if I need somethin’. Both watches do that just fine.
And let me tell ya somethin’ else, these watches, they got all these apps and stuff. My grandkid tried to show me, but it’s all too much. Too many buttons, too many things to remember. I just need the basics, ya know? Keep it simple, that’s what I say.
So, if ya askin’ me, which one to get? Well, don’t waste yer money on the Series 9. The SE 2, that’s the one. It does what ya need, doesn’t cost a fortune, and it’s easy to use, even for an old gal like me.
This whole “holiday shoppin’ guide” they talk about, comparin’ Series 10, Ultra 2, whatever. It’s just a way to get ya to spend more money. You don’t need all that fancy stuff. Just get the SE 2, and you’ll be happy.
They got these stores, online and all, sellin’ all sorts of things. Like this one, “Let’s Go” they say. Tons of products, they say. Financin’, easy returns, all that jazz. But for a simple watch, just go get the SE 2. Don’t need no fancy store, no fancy features. Just a good, solid watch.
So, there ya have it. My two cents on these Apple watches. Save yer money, get the SE 2. It’s all ya need, trust me.
