Ya know, this watch thingy, this apple watch se 2023 44mm starlight aluminum case with starlight sport band, it’s somethin’ else. Got it for myself, thought, why not? Everyone’s jabberin’ about these smart watches, gotta see what the fuss is all about.
First off, it looks real nice. Shiny and bright, like a new penny. And that strap, it’s comfy, doesn’t make your wrist all sweaty and itchy. It’s a light color, so it goes with most of my clothes, which is good, ’cause I ain’t got time to be fussin’ over matchin’ colors.
- It tells the time, obviously. Big numbers, easy to see, even without my specs.
- And it’s got this thing where it counts your steps. I walk a lot, ya know, back and forth to the market, around the yard. It’s kinda fun to see how much I move in a day.
Now, they say this watch can do all sorts of fancy stuff, like check your heart and tell if you fell down. Haven’t tried that last one, thank the lord, but I did see it checkin’ my heart rate. Seems to be workin’, I guess. Numbers jumpin’ around, makes ya wonder.
Someone told me it can connect to your phone. My grandson set it up for me. Now I get messages on my wrist. Can’t reply, mind you, too fiddly for my old fingers, but I can see who’s callin’ or textin’. Saves me from runnin’ to the phone every two minutes.
This sport band thing, it’s good for when I’m washin’ dishes or waterin’ the plants. Doesn’t get all soggy and ruined. And the watch face, it’s tough. Bumped it a few times, no scratches yet. Good thing, ’cause I ain’t exactly gentle with stuff.
Battery life seems decent. I charge it every night, just like my teeth. Don’t wanna wake up and find it dead. It charges pretty quick too, doesn’t take all day and night.
I heard some folks talkin’ about how it’s good for exercisin’. Now, I ain’t joggin’ or doin’ push-ups, but I do my chores. And this watch, it seems to know when I’m movin’ more than usual. Tells me I’m burnin’ calories or somethin’. Don’t know how true that is, but it’s nice to think I’m gettin’ some exercise while cleanin’ the house.
There are other fancy features, I’m sure. But honestly, I don’t use ’em all. Too complicated for an old gal like me. But the basics, the time, the steps, the messages, that’s good enough for me.
So, would I recommend this apple watch se 2023 44mm starlight aluminum case with starlight sport band? Sure, why not. It’s a nice little gadget. Does what it says, looks good, and ain’t too hard to figure out, once you get the hang of it. And if I can use it, anyone can.
