Oh, you’re talkin’ about that Watch Dogs 2 on the PS5, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it’s somethin’ else. My grandson, he showed me. All this fiddlin’ with phones and computers. He says it’s “hackin’” or somethin’.
So, this game, it’s set in this big city, San Fran… San… somethin’. Looks real busy, lots of cars and people. You play as this young fella, runnin’ around, causin’ all sorts of trouble. My grandson says he’s fightin’ the bad guys. Don’t look like it to me, all this messin’ with wires and stuff.
- Driving around: You get to drive all kinds of cars. Fast ones, slow ones, even those little electric ones. Looks like fun, but I tell ya, drivin’ in the city these days is a pain.
- Sneakin’ around: The fella in the game, he’s always sneakin’ and hidin’. Reminds me of when the kids used to play hide-and-seek in the yard. Only this is with cameras and guards and such.
- Pushin’ buttons: Like I said, lots of fiddlin’ with phones. Pushin’ buttons, makin’ things go boom, turnin’ lights on and off. My grandson says it’s how you solve puzzles. I just don’t get it.
Now, they say this game looks real good on the PS5. Sharp and clear, like lookin’ out the window. I don’t know much about that, but my grandson says it’s way better than the old box he used to have.
They tell me this game is old. Came out years ago, apparently. But they fixed it up for the new machine, so it runs better. Don’t know how they do that, makin’ old things new again. Wouldn’t that be somethin’?
My grandson says you can spend hours just wanderin’ around the city. Doin’ missions, causin’ trouble, or just lookin’ at stuff. Seems like a lot of work to me. I’d rather sit and watch the birds.
He also tells me you can play with other folks online. Team up, I think he said. Like playin’ cards with your friends, only you’re doin’ this… hackin’ stuff together. I don’t know, seems complicated.
Is it better than other games? My grandson plays all sorts of games. He’s got that one with the cars and the shootin’, and the one where you build things. He says this one is different. More thinkin’, less bang-bang. I guess that’s good, gotta use your brain sometimes.
Look, I don’t play these games myself. Too much clickin’ and button pushin’. But my grandson seems to like it, and that’s good enough for me. He says it’s fun, and that’s what matters, right? Keeps him outta trouble, mostly. So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ new to play on your fancy machine, this Watch Dogs 2 might be worth a look.
I still prefer sittin’ on the porch and watchin’ the world go by. But you young folks, you like your screens and your buttons. To each their own, I say. Just don’t spend all day indoors, get some sunshine now and then.
