Oh, you wanna know about this Watch Dogs 2 on the PS5? Yeah, I heard about it. My grandson, he’s always playing these games, always telling me about ’em. He says it’s got this “free roam” thing, whatever that means. Sounds like those chickens running around my yard, free to go wherever they please.
So, this game, is it free? Well, ain’t nothin’ really free in this world, is it? But I heard tell you can get a taste of it, like a free sample at the grocery store. They say you can play for a bit, see if you like it, then maybe you gotta pay up. Kinda like tryin’ before you buy, I guess.
- First off, you gotta log in with that Uplay thing. My grandson says it’s a pain, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
- Then you get to play for a few hours, runnin’ around doin’ whatever you please in the game. Sounds like fun, I reckon.
Now, about this PS5 thing. My grandson says it makes the game look real pretty, like those fancy pictures in the magazines. He says the game plays good too, smooth like butter. I wouldn’t know, I’m still usin’ my old TV with the rabbit ears.
You gotta do this intro thing first, he says. Takes a little while, but then you can go wherever you want. Free roam, he calls it. Sounds like when I let the cows out to pasture, they can wander wherever they like.
And there’s these “DedSec events.” Sounds like those town meetings where everyone gets together and talks about stuff. But in the game, you gotta do things, missions or somethin’. My grandson’s always yelling about missions.
You can play with other folks too, he says. Like a big ol’ party line on the telephone. Everyone’s in the same game, runnin’ around together. Sounds like a hoot, if you ask me. But I’d rather sit on my porch and watch the real world go by.
So, this Watch Dogs 2 on the PS5, it’s got a free bit, you gotta log in with Uplay, and you can roam around like my chickens. And it looks real pretty and plays smooth. That’s about all I know. My grandson, he could tell you more, but he’s busy playin’ right now. Kids these days, always glued to them screens.
Is it worth it? Well, that depends on what you like, I reckon. If you like runnin’ around in a pretend world, doin’ pretend missions, then maybe it is. Me? I’d rather be out in my garden, watchin’ things grow.
