Oh my, watch this here dog thing, number 2? They made a trailer? Well, I reckon let’s take a gander at it, shall we?
First off, all them colors, like a rainbow threw up on the screen. Reminds me of that time my grandson showed me that space game, no man’s sky or somethin’. Pretty, sure, but what’s it all mean? They say it’s in San Fran-cisco, where all them computer folks hang out. Makes sense, I guess, with all them gadgets and gizmos in the trailer.
- Got this fella, Marcus, running around, hacking into stuff.
- He’s messing with traffic lights, making cars crash, the usual ruckus.
This Marcus fella, he’s part of some group, DedSec, they call themselves. Like a bunch of kids playing pranks, but with computers. They say they fightin’ for freedom, stickin’ it to the man. Well, good for them, I always say someone’s gotta keep them bigwigs in check.
They showed some new thing, “Human Conditions” they called it. More stories, more things to do with your friends. And some new bad guy, a “Jammer”, who messes with your stuff. Seems like they just keep addin’ more and more to this dog game.
Now, they say this game sold a lot, millions of copies. Folks really like playin’ dress up as hackers, I reckon. Even them folks over in Japan bought a bunch. Must be somethin’ to it, all these young’uns glued to their screens.
There was a leak, they say, before the trailer came out. Someone spilled the beans early. Happens all the time, can’t keep a secret these days. But it didn’t seem to hurt much, everyone still excited about the dog game.
Them folks online, on that “reddit” thing, they talkin’ all about it. Thousands of ’em, chatterin’ away like hens in a coop. Seems like everyone’s got an opinion on this watch dog thing.
It’s a “cinematic reveal trailer”, they say. Fancy words for a moving picture show. But it does look nice, all them explosions and car chases. Like one of them action movies my husband used to watch.
They ranked it number eight in sales, back in 2017. That’s a good number, I suppose. Means folks were buyin’ it up. Though, I don’t rightly know what they see in all that computer mumbo jumbo.
So, this watch dog number two, it’s a big deal, seems like. All them colors and hacks and whatnot. Makes me dizzy just thinkin’ about it. But if it keeps the young’uns entertained, well, I guess it can’t be all bad.
In the end, it’s just a game, ain’t it? Make believe. Like when we used to play cops and robbers in the yard. Just with more fancy gadgets and less runnin’ around.
