Hey there, you know, I got this thing, the honor watch gs 3 ocean blue mus-b19, it’s one of them smart watches. Fancy, right? Never thought I’d have somethin’ like this, always figured they were for the young ‘uns. But here I am, fiddlin’ with it and tryin’ to figure it all out.
First off, it’s blue, like the ocean they say. Pretty color, reminds me of that time we went to the coast, long time ago. Anyways, it tells time, of course, but it does a whole lot more. Says it tracks your steps, your sleep, your heart… somethin’ or other. Gotta wear it all the time for that, they tell me.
- Time, yep, shows the time.
- Steps, counts your steps, how much you walk.
- Sleep, watches you sleep, tells you if you slept good.
- Heart thing, beats and stuff. Don’t really get it, but it’s there.
Got this screen, you touch it and things happen. Sometimes it does what I want, sometimes it doesn’t. Like, I try to see my steps and it shows me the weather. Don’t need to know the weather on my wrist, I got a window! But it’s got pictures and numbers, all colorful and bright. My grandson, he loves it, always pokin’ at it when he comes over.
They say it’s waterproof, too. You can swim with it, take a shower. Wouldn’t catch me doin’ that though, don’t want to ruin it. Too fancy for gettin’ wet. But it’s nice to know, I guess, if I ever fall in a puddle or somethin’.
Connects to your phone, too. My daughter, she set it up for me. Said it can get messages and calls. Don’t know why I need that on my wrist, phone’s right in my purse, but it’s there if I want it. She said somethin’ about GPS, too. Maps and directions. Wouldn’t trust it though, I know my way around town just fine.
The strap’s comfy, doesn’t pinch or nothin’. It’s got all these little holes, makes it fit nice. Don’t even feel it most of the time. Had another watch once, big metal thing, heavy and clunky. This one’s light as a feather. And it’s got this button on the side, you press it and the screen lights up. Like magic.
Thing needs chargin’, though. Gotta plug it in every few days. Don’t like that, always forgettin’. My old watch, just wind it up and it goes. This one’s gotta have its electricity. Oh well, times are changin’, I guess.
It tells me to move, too. Says I been sittin’ too long, gotta get up and walk around. Bossy little thing, ain’t it? But I suppose it’s good for me, keeps me movin’. Gotta stay healthy, they say.
All in all, it’s a fancy gadget. Don’t need all the bells and whistles, but it’s fun to play with. My grandson likes it, and that’s what matters. Keeps him entertained when he visits. And it tells time, too, which is what I wanted in the first place. So I guess it’s doin’ its job.
